Annette Kohls is a holistic movement coach and yoga therapy practitioner with a trauma-informed, spirit-driven approach to nervous-system healing. She specializes in guiding service members, veterans, first responders, and their families through simple, accessible practices that support emotional regulation, grounding, and inner steadiness. With a background in yoga therapy, mindful movement, and restorative practices, Annette leads Path to Peace with compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to helping participants reconnect with themselves and build lasting resilience.

  • Path to Peace is a no-cost, 6-week trauma-informed course that teaches practical tools for calming the nervous system, easing stress, and building emotional resilience through education, breathwork, movement, meditation, and journaling.

  • This program is designed for service members, veterans, first responders, and their families who want support with stress, overwhelm, nervous-system imbalance, or the hidden effects of service-related experiences.

  • No. All practices are beginner-friendly, gentle, and accessible. You can move at your own pace and adjust any exercise or technique to fit your comfort level.

  • No. Path to Peace is offered at no cost as part of our spirit-driven 508(c)(1)(A) nonprofit mission. This program is offered at no cost to remove the financial burden that often prevents service members, veterans, first responders, and their families from accessing restorative care. Our mission is to make trauma-informed education and support fully accessible, without the stress of fees or program costs. We rely on community donations and grants specifically designed to support the wellbeing of those who serve, allowing every participant to experience the full 6-week program without financial barriers.

  • Most participants spend about 60–90 minutes in the weekly session plus a few minutes each day using the simple grounding tools, breathwork, or journaling prompts.

  • No. This program is educational and supportive but is not a substitute for therapy or medical care. Participants are encouraged to continue any existing mental-health or medical support.

  • Complete the interest form and schedule a clarity call. After the call, you’ll fill out the official registration form and HIPAA form. Once those are submitted, you’ll be officially enrolled. The week before we launch you will receive your welcome packet with program dates, instructions, and access details.

  • Replays and resources are available in the private community space so you can catch up anytime. However, you will experience the greatest benefits by attending live sessions and engaging with other members. Healing is an inner process, but it is strengthened through connection, shared perspective, and being in relationship with others who understand the journey.
