    Annette Kohls

    Founder & Program Director
    Annette is a holistic movement specialist, yoga therapist, and wellness educator dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, first responders, and their families through trauma-informed, heart-centered practices. With decades of experience in therapeutic movement and mind-body integration, she created the Path to Peace program to offer a compassionate space for healing, resilience, and inner restoration. Annette guides each cohort with deep care, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to helping warriors and their loved ones reconnect with peace, purpose, and themselves.

    Joshua Michener

    Co-Founder & Veteran Liaison
    Joshua brings lived experience, grounded leadership, and a genuine understanding of the military community. In addition to his own service, he has spent more than 20 years in a civilian career supporting the military infrastructure, giving him a unique vantage point on the challenges faced both in and beyond uniform. As a leader whose professional team is composed largely of veterans, Joshua recognizes the importance of community, connection, and post-service support. His insight and steady presence help shape the direction of Path to Peace, ensuring that the program remains connected to the real needs of the warrior community.

    Garrett Kohls

    Secretary/Treasurer & Operations Support
    Garrett serves as Secretary and Treasurer for Path to Peace, supporting the program’s logistics, communication, and day-to-day operations. With a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a growing dedication to service, he plays an essential role in maintaining a smooth and supportive experience for every participant. Garrett is soon to be an Airman in the United States Air Force and looks forward to building a long and meaningful career serving his country. His reliability and heart for helping others make him a valued part of the Path to Peace leadership team.
